Something interesting happened to me last night and so thought I’d share!

So for Lent I recently took up praying the rosary once a day again. I use to do this all the time, maybe even a couple of times a day! But then I stopped completely and I wanted to get back to my original prayer life. So, as I started this time around I pray it before I go to bed. Some times I begin to drift off, it’s a relaxing prayer, and it gets hard for me to focus. Last night I put my youngest daughter to bed, she’s about 2 weeks old, and I got so tired I fell asleep. I woke up later to one of my kids screaming! I looked around though and everyone was fine, even my husband was sound asleep. But when I looked at the time it was 11:30!
I quickly grabbed my rosary and started to pray. I finished just before 12! I think our Holy Mother was trying to keep me on track, and thanks be to God for that!

If screaming ,this disturbance is the presence of the evil one ,may be Mother Mary, wants you to start praying once again ,so you’ll have peace ,joy and protection for your family and you,if it was Mary the baby will never scream ,but rather sleep peacefully .Luke I;46 to 55 is also a wonderful prayer taught by the Catholic Church.

Given the difficulty I’ve long had falling asleep at night, I consider it a blessing when I start to fall asleep while praying 🤣

Or maybe the baby was screaming because it’s a baby? Otherwise we’d all need exorcists present the first 4 years, or so.

The Rosary is an amazing prayer. Glad you “rediscovered” it.

Interesting story.

God bless,

God works in mysterious ways. Good to be reminded of what is good and holy and be encouraged to pray.
