I don’t know where to post this but…

If a theistic satanist(devil worshipper) decided to turn back into the arms of God, would they be accepted and be able to get into heaven?

Thanks. 😃

As far as I know, anyone can be forgiven if they are truly repentant. God doesn’t hold grudges. 🙂

My dear friend

Welcome to the forums. The only sin that cannot be forgiven is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which is unforgivable because you reject the forgiveness of God. An explanation of catholic church teahing follows-

According to the Catholic Catechism, there are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and eternal loss. [1]
However, it should be noted that the Church further believes there is no offence, however serious, that the Church cannot forgive. There is no one, however wicked and guilty, who may not confidently hope for forgiveness, provided his repentance is honest. Christ who died for all men desires that in his Church the gates of forgiveness should always be open to anyone who turns away from sin. [2]
The Orthodox Churches essentially hold the same principles in regards to this doctrine although their understanding of the nature of “The Church” may differ slightly.

Hope this helps dear friend.

May God bless you abundantly:thumbsup:🙂

As far as my knowledge goes, anyone is capable of receiving God’s love and forgiveness, as long as the person is truly and fully repentant. We are all His creations, and I’m sure He understands that a lot of us get lost. The best part is that no matter how far you stray, God will be waiting for you, His arms open wide, once you find the way back.

I’ll let you know how it ends up with me. 🤷

And the term is diabolist by the way!

Of course they would be welcomed - no sin is too great for God’s mercy!!!
Is there someone in mind we should be praying for?

Sinners are always welcome. God’s mercy knows no bounds.

I would caution that a practicing Satanist turning to God might come under demonic attack to dissuade them from turning to God. It would be good for that person to have some prayer cover and be under the direction of a holy, knowledgeable priest who knew about this person’s past and could offer appropriate help and counsel.

Yes.

“Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine rightous persons who need no repentance.” Luke 15:7

of course, in fact the Rites of Christian Initiation include excorcisms intended expressly for such persons, or for those who have been following pagan gods which can amount to the same thing.

Yes, but it would be difficult.

You’ll be alright. I remember praying the divine mercy chaplet for you and it is a powerful prayer for conversion. God Bless, Tim

Oh, definitely, as long as the person makes a full commitment to come home to God. He’s a lot more forgiving than most human beings.

“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18). I
sometimes think of this line.
Code:
God sometimes spoke with words to Saint Faustina, the saint of Divine Mercy, and
one time He told her,
"Let the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy. They have the right before
others to trust in the abyss of My mercy. My daughter, write about My mercy towards
tormented souls. Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I
grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he
makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in my
untathomable and inscrutable mercy. Write: before I come as a just Judge, I first open
wide the door of My mercy. He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy
must pass through the door of My justice... "Diary," p. 420, #1146.

Go back, but make it a very strong WILL of yours.
You will experience terrible demonic attacks.
Stay firm and reject anything that sound bad.

I went through a terrible experience myself lately.
I had an ipod playing into my earphones, for several days.

" Satan begone, Spirits begone, Get off of my bones!
Be Removed in the name of Jesus. Angels of God, Spirits of God,
get them off of my bones. Remove them, in the name of Jesus.
Father in heaven, please command it done,
please see it done."
Keep praying to Jesus as much as you can.
Even if you told you do not need to, then just do opposite, increase it.
Now i am ok. all is gone. Get ready for a battle with devil.

Link to a download of this, it is by Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican’s top exorcist.

I have also wondered about this. I saw a news article recently about some Satanists who committed a horrible murder and I wanted to pray for them but wasn’t sure how. I guess my question isn’t so much whether God will forgive but whether Satan will let go of a person who has promised themself to him. The Satanists in the news article I read had pledged their souls to him, is there any hope after that? How or what should we pray for such people?
