I have also wondered about this. I saw a news article recently about some Satanists who committed a horrible murder and I wanted to pray for them but wasn’t sure how. I guess my question isn’t so much whether God will forgive but whether Satan will let go of a person who has promised themself to him. The Satanists in the news article I read had pledged their souls to him, is there any hope after that? How or what should we pray for such people?

The devil wants people to think they are beyond hope, lost and damned. These “pacts” can be broken with just prayer and living a christian lifestyle. There are some specific prayers availible on this website.The Lord may allow certain trials to strengthen the true faith and to let a person see the true nature of the deceiver. These attacks may last a lifetime as conversion is a liftime process for all of us. Praying for peoples conversion is just like praying for anyone, it’s just different sins that shackle them. Everybody struggles with some kind of sin, be it grave or not. Tim
