What’s your take on the Eucharist: A Short History? It seems like the facts are correct but I’m wondering if the some of the descriptions are made to sound more certain then the historical facts support.
One sentence said: “Early Christians viewed the Last Supper from the viewpoint of the Passover meal” Does this mean that later Christians don’t look at the Last Supper from the view point of of a Passover meal?
Also the heading “2. From Meal to Worship.” seems to imply that the early Christians saw the Eucharist as just a shared meal in someone home and not Worship. Is this true?
