I went to confession earlier. I confessed with true humility, honesty and contrition. The priest did not tell the words of absolution but instead gave me penance and said "May God
Bless you in tha name. " Please pray for confidence. Im worried that my sins were not forgiven. 😦 thank you

Your sins have been forgiven, it was a valid confession. Praying for you.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Dizet in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.

Perhaps he did not say them aloud. No priest “forgets” to absolve unless he was quite elderly.
Be at peace.
God knows you went to the Sacrament with the intention to be healed.

Maybe this link will set your mind at ease?

Praying for your peace of mind…

Prayer To St. Thomas More

St. Thomas More, you were highly esteemed for your unfailing moral integrity, sharpness of mind, humor, and extraordinary learning. You were a family man, a confidante of the king, and a staunch member of the Catholic faith. Because of your loyalty to the Church, you were martyred by the command of your former friend and sovereign. On this your feast day, I ask that you pray that we may be as steadfast, brave, and generous as you were. Pray that all of us may do the will of God in our lives and attain virtue by our perseverance. I also humbly ask you to intercede and pray for all those CAF members whose intentions are posted here. May we see you in the glory of heaven, by the grace of God and the merits of Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your sincere confession was valid as the other poster said. If you continue to have lingering doubt, you can also go again to the priest and ask to make sure you were absolved, or go to confession again to a different priest.

I will be saying a Rosary later today for all the prayer intentions I have tagged on CAF today. I will add your peace of mind today’s list. May God bless and help you and your family, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our Mother of Perpetual Help, please pray for mental peace for the OP.
St. Joseph, please pray for this intention.
St. John Nepomucene, please pray for this intention. Thank you. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

**O God, Who granted to St. George strength and constancy in the various torments which he endured for our Holy Faith, we beseech You, through his intercession, to preserve our faith from wavering and doubt, so that we may serve You with a sincere heart faithfully unto death. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Today is the feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus; He knows your fears, and I’m sure His mercy covers you. (:
