I will just rephrase admirers/followers in the above post.

I just put a simple question to my friends here.

The followers of a person named A; if they the followers of A with omission or commission, being sinful human beings as they are, make mistakes without any express authority from A; to how much extent A would be responsible for the wrongs of his followers? A had died/passed away centuries ago.

If A is a Catholic
If A is a non-Catholic

This is just a simple question to frame a principle.

My answer is: A is absolutely not responsible for the sins of the followers. A could be a Catholic, a Protestant, a JW, a Hindu, a Wicca, a Buddhist or a Muslim and followers could be of any faith.

One may insert instead of the Catholic in the suppositions the world Muslim, yet the answer won’t change.

What is your reply?

paarsurrey forgive me if I am not understanding your post here but are you saying that Mohammed was not bad but his admirers are?

There are several differences. To name two:
  1. Jesus was God made man.
  2. Mahomet (plbt) was a pedophile. (Any man who has sex with a 9 year old child is a pedophile by definition.)

I mean the fake followers, that is why I added the word followers.

My thought: I would not find fault in a “leader” for the actions of the followers if they are misrepresenting his message.

However I think the question then moves to; are the followers truly misrepresenting the “leader’s” message?
