A Sin

Jesus never sinned. That is a given. If we are to follow his example what should we avoid? I really want to know your thoughts. I think every thought every action we do in are life should be based on what Jesus wants from us. I can’t say I live my life like that though. If what I said is true we all should know what Jesus wants from us. Could you please educate me?

We should avoid all near occasions of sin as much as possible. We should avoid falling negligent in prayer and in penance, and in charity. We should avoid focusing on others’ sins and focus on our own. We should avoid wasting time and use all our time in God’s service, doing everything for his glory and honor. We should avoid bad company and talking too much. We should avoid bad literature and bad television and spend plenty of time doing good, pious reading. We should avoid being selfish and self-centered, putting God first, our neighbors second and our own selves last, but we should never EVER put our precious souls after other people. We should avoid everything that is not to God’s glory and honor. God bless you.

at one point i was asking this question myself too, and i have come to the conclusion that prayer is the answer. Because through prayer we will be given that grace and enlightenment. Mama Mary is “full of grace” so she committed no sin.

prayer to the Holy Spirit for the gifts, especially for the gift of Counsel. keep yourself busy with your daily cross/duties. pray the “Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary” daily and rosary too.

i have read St. Faustina’s diary and it made me realize i commit a lot of venial sins.
