If you’re really confused about it, I would go and talk to sister or father, but don’t be accusatory about it. Simply mention that you have never experienced it before and are wondering what it is and where it came from. Based on the details you have given, it sounds like meditations or contextualizations of the readings, which may not be a big deal.
