A Prayer for me? I am 54 man and have been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. At best will end up with a single or double lung transplant. And after that it is in God’s hands.
But I thank God each day and take one day at a time. There is something good in everyday.
Thanks.

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant, KJPC,
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
he may give thanks to You in Your Church.

Dear God - Author and Giver of Life,
Thou who breathes life into us all,
Please grant Thy servant, KJPC, the gift of breathing -
Successful surgery, if a lung transplant is required -
And guide the hands of the physicians who perform this operation.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
On earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
