A small request in the midst of so many big ones

still, I’m asking fror your prayers again, CAF prayer warriors.

tonight, i’m surrounded by three coughing daughters. the vaporizer is on, cough meds distributed. and girls are still coughing till they’re almost blue in the face. each of them hs interrupted sleep at least every 40 minutes.

thing is, the baby’s been suffering like this for four weeks. during the day, much improved, but at night it’s terrible.

though lots of friends and neighbors are reporting similar symptoms of extended duration, i worry about the baby and her next older sister. baby has down syndrome and heart defects. i worry about her heart with all this coughing. her next older sister is somewhat frail. weeks of interrupted sleep makes her look so diminished and small. (i’m looking a little worn out myself.)

thanks for listening. and many many thanks for your powerful prayers. i really have come to rely on them for so many things.

God is so good.
 
Not a small request! It’s a big one if it concerns the health of your littles ones and especially of the two frail little ones! Surrounded by sick children, I don’t doubt you’re frazzled!

I ask the Lord Jesus to help your little girls to recover safely, and for you all to get some decent sleep. And I ask our Mother to watch over them and you

…and please God, you won’t get ill too.

I’ll be thinking of you and the girls at Mass in the morning.

You and your children are in my prayers. One thing that has helped my grandchildren who’ve had the same thing as your daughters was a nebulizer. It really broke up the flem that was stuck in their lungs-I know that they had to get a prescription for it and also the medication, but they were supplied with enough of the medication to last quite a few months. If you have health insurance it should cover both the machine and the medication-otherwise if you don’t I think it is costly.
