A specific prayer about an old relationship

I asked for prayers to let go of old relationships and forgive, and lots of old relationships have been coming to mind, but it is one specific one that I meant, a same sex relationship, a college roommate, the relationship became very negative, we stayed as roommates for most of the four years and it marked both of our lives, I ask for prayers for both of us, its such a shame to still be carrying this as a burden so late in life.

Please read Matthew chapters 5 and 6. Someone has been persecuting me, and when I asked for GOD’s guidance, He led me to these chapters, and since the persecution is continuous, the next week after that, I prayed again for His guidance, and AGAIN I opened the Bible to the same chapters! We humans find it hard to learn, right?
 
Father bless this person an allow them to move forward and let go of the past burdens. May they find wellness and follow Christ. In your name, Jesus amen!
 
Dear Lord please abundantly bless them both.
Please Lord, encourage our friend to place this burden in Your care, and to accept the healing You offer.
