P.S. This reminds me of Catholics who say that the main reason for not changing our date of Easter, so as to use the same date as the Orthodox, is that then we wouldn’t be using the same date as the Protestants.
LoL of course there is disagreement about that, that’s what makes you protestants.
And nothing you say makes you right, only arrogant in your opinion.
The Anglican community also believes that women can be bishops, that homosexuality is fine by God, that birth control is a blessing from above and that you don’t need to be under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Rome. This is why they’re not part of The Church. If there wasn’t disagreement then they would Catholics.
The Anglican community doesn’t beleive in anything at all! Another way of putting it would be, they believe in anything they like! In Anglicanism, you can believe anything you like, provided that you don’t make too much noise about it. That is Anglicanism at its core.Your attempt to claim what “the Anglican” community believes is sadly wrong.
I don’t think you should be too quick to point to Catholic misbehavior on the internet. Is this how you are taught to behave as a Roman Catholic? I very seriously doubt you are to act with such nasty arrogance and lack of humility. Your attempt to claim what “the Anglican” community believes is sadly wrong. I think you have some growing up to do.
You do know that the Y’ in Y’all is short for You, right?
LoL, no, and my deepest apologies Peter J. I would swear I had seen you say you were either Anglican or Lutheran! I am truly sorry about that, that would have been horrible of me.Do you think I’m ‘not a real Catholic’ because I favor “equal-time” discussion … or what exactly?
So rather than correct me you insult me. Fair enough I suppose. Perhaps I’m confused, but I’ve heard of all the above happening in the Anglican Community, and sanctioned by your heirarchy. If there is some different brand of Anglican that doesn’t agree with all of this, then it’s news to me.Well that goes to show how very little you do know. Is this how you are taught to behave as a Roman Catholic? I very seriously doubt you are to act with such nasty arrogance and lack of humility. Your attempt to claim what “the Anglican” community believes is sadly wrong. I think you have some growing up to do
And nothing you say makes you right, only arrogant in your opinion
LoL, likewise, and on all points. When and if you are ready to be respectful and speak with some common courtesy let me know. But you are amusing in your limited way.
That remark was uncalled for !!!There is only one Catholic Church, there is only one Church, which by definition is apostolic.
To claim you don’t know what we mean by ‘non-Catholic’ when coming to a Catholic Apolgetics Forums is deliberate ignorance IMO.
Oh that’s quite alright.LoL, no, and my deepest apologies Peter J. I would swear I had seen you say you were either Anglican or Lutheran! I am truly sorry about that, that would have been horrible of me.
Does this invalidate the original question? You may have noticed that PastorVW has disappeared, ever since I asked him to explain to us more fully what religion he was.
zerinus
His question has been addressed, but he apparently does not like to hang around to discuss them.Does this invalidate the original question?
No…I just can’t work out what you’re asking in the post…lol, can you clarify for me?Getting back to where we were, I notice that you’ve only responded to that one sentence of post 51. Can I take it that you don’t have any comment or complain about the rest of it?
I had to go back and look at #51 again to remember what I said. No…I just can’t work out what you’re asking in the post…lol, can you clarify for me?
Non-catholic religions includes all religions that are not roman catholic. For example, where would catholic forums put the muslim threads or the hindu threads. Not to mention, the amish and its off shoots, plus buddhaism etc.Given the fact that many of us outside the Catholic Church do not consider it to be a different religion (or Gospel) - and that (as I understand it) the Catholic Church considers us to be “separated brethren” - may I suggest that you consider establishing a forum for discussion of other Christian churches?
I don’t think that you put us in the same category with Mormonism or the Jehovah’s Witnesses, so why put us in the same forum?
