A thread with a very long title, a title so long it could be a short story, like this one about a garden wall, made of stone blocks, but full of life,

I’m surprised you don’t have a cow. Back when there were pandemic shortages in the supermarkets here, I bought a cow so we’d have milk. Later, when the store shelves were replenished, I set it free to swim with the dolphins.

That’s a most remarkable cow :sweat_smile:Back in March I considered buying a goat,I don’t mind the milk.
 
I watched the movie A Hidden Life today, about Blessed Franz Jagerstatter, the Catholic conscientious objector who was executed by the nazis for refusing to fight during WWII. It was beautifully filmed and moving, though not exciting like a typical Hollywood movie. Anyway, I don’t see any active general movie threads, so I thought I’d mention it here. Blessed Franz Jagerstatter, pray for us!

Today is our Labor Day holiday, which I see is celebrated on different days in Australia. We usually have a Labor Day parade and festivities here, but that has been canceled this year due to the pandemic 🙁.
Hopefully next year will be better!

When I first heard that song at age 12 I thought it was silly. Listening to it again after all these I years, I see it as a commentary on how girls mature faster than boys 🤓, but the suggestive lyrics are unacceptable 😠. In conclusion, I was right early on. The song is silly 😒 🕷️ 🐍.
 
Conway and Loretta had a number of silly duets.

No wonder this thread is moving so slowly …having such a long train of a title …someone needs to unhitch a few of the descriptions so it can speed along more quickly 😅

He’s such a silly bird 🙂 I laughed just a little while ago when for the sheer fun of it he jumped upwards a metre flapping his wings and landed crowing :grin:I guess that’s expressing simple joy of living.
I’m going to change the avatar soon,cool colours that look less aggressive. 🙂
 
Since this is the thread with the exceedingly long title, I think it might be the appropriate place to post a song with a very long title. Heard it on TCM this afternoon while watching a movie called Royal Wedding. It starred Fred Astair and Jane Powel who danced to the song ‘How Could You Believe Me When I Said I Loved You (When You Know I’ve Been a Liar All My Life)?’ There may be others out there with longer titles but 21 words is pretty long. Of course it can’t compare to the title of this thread.
 
I think @Niblo is Welsh ? I can’t remember the very long name given to a Welsh town…:thinking:He might enlighten us.
