A "True Letter" of Jesus? Is this a disapproved "apparition"?

A friend recently gave me a copy of this letter, which says that if you keep it with you at all times, you will be granted a happy death.

Is this legitimate, or is this some disapproved “apparition”? Or has the Church made a judgment about it at all?

First of all, let’s look at the website which offers the “letter” purported to be “of Our savior Jesus Christ.”

It is from the “traditionalist” Our Lady of the Rosary Library which demeans the normative Roman Liturgy of Mass - the so-called [Novus Ordo Missae*.

Secondly, there is no indication on this webpage as to where Our Lord starts to “write” and finishes “writing”. Is it He who starts by writing: “Copy of th letter of the Oration found in the Holy Sepulchre…”

Is it He who writes “So said St Gregorius.” (The implication should be obvious, surely?)

Is it He who finishes by describing the torture in detail?

Attribution is given to a book of prayers from The Miraculous Our of the Roses" - which is a pro-San Damiano website.

The same site also promotes the 15 Prayers of St Bridget - which carries a warning as per EWTN:

In some places, a little work has been disseminated called the “Secret of Happiness: 15 prayers revealed by the Lord to St. Bridget in the Church of St. Paul at Rome”, published at Nice and elsewhere in several languages.

Since it is asserted in this pamphlet that God made to St. Bridget certain promises, whose supernatural origin is uncertain, let local ordinaries take care not to grant permission for publishing or reprinting pamphlets or other writings which contain these promises.

Finally, the alleged “letter” carries a threat against “those people who … cast slurs on this Sacred Letter will be forsaken by Me.”
While catholics ARE obliged to believe in Public Revelation - no-one is required to believe in Private Revelation, which - if this letter is true - one is not required to believe. I do not believe that Our Lord makes such types of threats.

I would suggest that the alleged “A True Letter of Our Saviour Jesus Christ” is similar to the “15 Promises of St Bridget” and San Damiano, and is pseudo “traditional”.

All public revelation ceased with the death of the last apostle, John. all locutions, messages and visions received by individuals since that time are private revelation. Even if the Church judges that they contain no doctrinal error and may be regarded as having divine origin, they never require belief or action on the part of Catholics. It the message implies otherwise, by definition it is not genuine.
