A woman friend seeking help on finding an order

She is 35 and needs to pay some debts. She would like to join a contemplative indult order for women. She says it is more difficult for women interested in that situation than men. She has inquired about 3rd orders and claustral oblates, but they don’t have the charism she feels she has. It was brought up by a priest that she could try to start an order, but she doesn’t think women not in an order already can do it. Anyone know of orders that might take her or precedents of non religious women who started their own order? She is open to the better N.O. orders but I think she really wants the tradition Latin Mass of anytime up till the '62 missal.

Consecrated women are in the Legionaries of Christ (they make promises not vows)
There is a brand new order out of Ann Arbor MI they were on EWTN and were absolutely wonderful.

She recently told me she was not so much in debt as she didn’t have the money. The one(s) that interests her has a sort of dowry system and apparently, she doesn’t have any financial sponsors. Is that dowry system a common thing for those wanting to join a convent? What about an order for men? Thanks!

I missed the money issue in your previous post.
The order my sister is in did not require any dowry and neither does the Legionaries of Christ. Actually this is the first I have heard of it. We helped my sister pay for her airline ticket to Portugal the first time but that was pretty much it. They are an order that takes the vow of poverty so as her family we send donations when we can. But it was not required for her . Same with the Legionaries. If she is looking for the Latin Mass the Order of the Holy Cross,Mother Angelica’s sisters and the Order from Ann Arbor might be to her liking.
