This thread, in and of itself, melts my heart with the true beauty, consideration for fellow humans. This thread removes all doubt about the compassion of our faith and the resonance of our treatment of others. It simply makes me proud to be of this world, and of the catholic and apostolic church.
Here, distant souls read and respond to a hurting soul in a way that I am sure Christ himself would be proud.
I have been following this thread from the begining, and witness in all the goodness and holiness that can come after such a heartbreaking and tragic event. The responses of pure love and hope from all these unknow people and members from all over the globe refils me with the Holy Spirit and rekindes my faith in us as humans. What the entire world could learn from reading your posts. It gives me that “deep deep deep warm feeling all over” you get after a particularly good, and inspireing homily - feeling that Christ is walking out the door with you hand and hand.
As in the beginning, I wish you Godspeed and that Pease Be With you! I still remeber you during any and all special intentions in church!
Best of Lick Always!
Peace Be With you![BIBLEDRB][/BIBLEDRB]

The Reginator; go for goal and jimmorehead: Thank you so much. Reg, always good
to have you on my thread. gofor goal: Did not mean to confuse all the "dog"speak!
My dog, Gideon lives with me in another town. This is something Larry and I worked out.
However, I will be visiting my family in Chicago so Gideon will stay at his former house,
under Larry’s care while I am gone. Larry is preparing that house for sale. I am not directing any of that. That is how the divorce decree was spelled out.

Jim, my eyes filled with tears because I have been saying all along how remarkable the
response has been to my case. Never in my wildest hopes did I think CAF had so much
to offer me. I was looking for a way to deflect some of the pain I felt in the early weeks. I
had no one to tell and no one to advise me in my church. Although I will say, the pastor and deacon did the most remarkable job of working with me one-on-one. The kindnesses
and friendships came so easily here. It was a beacon of light to come here and have prayers said for me. I honestly grew stronger which each day of prayer. My thread is only one tiny grain of sand on a big beach. I have read other threads, and the compassion therein continues to blow me away. I have not done it in awhile because of
all that had to be done after my trial, but I went to other threads and was a prayer
advocate at times. Believe me the same intense feeling is there while “giving” prayer &
encouragement as there is in “receiving” it. As you see, there is remarkable comfort from special warm, loving members of the mystical Body of Christ. It’s like heaven on earth everyday! Brothers and sisters in Christ, I love you all. We have much more sharing and caring to look forward to in the next world.

Lord thankyou for helping Kaylynn as she now embarks on the next phase of her life with a safe secure future with her own home for her and her faithful companion Gideon. We pray also for Larry for his readjustment to this new phase of life for them both. Please Lord bless our dear friend Kaylynn always.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

This is such a beautiful message James.God bless you for your generosity.

Kaylynn has been and continues to be so very brave, God has brought her through her dark days and her experiences will help so many others.

kaylynn and everyone here it was 98 degrees here in Houston . So its that time of year for sunscreen and hair treatment.
Today I went with my mom to Our Lady of Saint John Church for the funeral mass. Mass was 30 minutes late, priest talked for 45 minutes.

Kaylynn prayed for you and beloved Gideon and everyone here at the altar.
Oh my word Ana that is Hot!!! 😉
I don’t know how I would cope…

God bless you sweet thoughtful friend.

tb crawford and 77stanthony77: thank you for reaching out to me - - you know how
much it is appreciated. Yes, st anthony, I saw that Texas was soaring. My nephew
and his wife live in a suburb of Dallas. They are so happy there with their two dogs
and (much needed) swimming pool! We are facing the summer doldrums of intense heat,
late day rains, intense heat, late day rains. I am hoping that Chicago gets nice temps
for walking. Many nice trails by my mother’s house. Of course, it’s summer & in Chicago
anything goes. It will be good to have a change of pace. Gideon will return to our original
house where my ex-husband is getting it ready for sale. Giddy and I are never apart - so
this is a big deal for me. I leave July 3 through 8.

kaylynn7800
Kaylynn I pray all will go well for your visit July 3 - 8 .I am sure Gideon will appreciate you even more when he is back with you. 🙂
Love to you always my Friend
God bless you

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,

is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.

Dear Kaylynn I am thinking of you sweetheart. You truly have and continue to be so very brave. We are all inspired and moved by your deep faith and courage.
I hold you in my daily thoughts and prayers. Often throughout my day I wonder what you are doing and how you are feeling. I try to put myself in your position and imagine how I would be trying to deal with all these things. All I know is I am humbled by your courage and faith. My love and prayers for you always dear Friend

I most earnestly ask your prayers for myself. I have suffered from panic attacks and
anxiety since I was 7 years old. Now, at age 66, I find myself blindsided by a divorce after
30 years marriage. Some days I can barely feed myself and dogs. Remember me.
Most gratefully, kaylynn7800
Continuing in prayer for your intentions.

tb crawford; Thank you for being the base of my huge support system! In addition to
the usual changes in address and neighborhood, I am also coping with a change of
anxiety medication. Doctor has been slowly weaning me off. This week I got very brave
and stepped it up. However, this can be a two-edged sword because it gives you multiple
side effects. One of the dangers: changes in cognitive thinking and memory. I notice
I slipped up on some very simple things. No matter the frustration this must be done, and
it may be many mos. before I am myself. The thought just crossed me mind - how funny
that is. After a year like this, I don’t even know what MYSELF is supposed to feel like.
I do know that this site definitely is one thing I never forget to check because I have never
felt this close to God (as I have this year). Always a good, consistent Catholic, but I
think with age and other things, I am really hitting my full potential. I am so comfortable
with and happy with that part of my life. God bless you, my good, good friend.

Dearest Kaylynn you have shown such courage and faith…you are the most wonderful example of witness of Christ.
I continue to pray for you as you go through the many changes in your life including the changes of medication for anxiety. You inspire me, as you know I also suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and your strength and courage are inspirational.
I hold you and Gideon in my daily thoughts and prayers and often throughout my day wonder how you are feeling.
My love to you my dear faith- filled friend. You are wonderful ! xo

God bless you

tradcathconvert and tbcrawford: So glad to have my mainstay friends aboard when
I wake this morning. My heart and soul are lifted. The Lord never said this journey
on earth would be easy. Yesterday, I had a few struggles. However, I try to remember
what President Franklin Roosevelt said: The only thing to fear, is fear itself.

It just might be that the new ME will not be a perfectionist! will not beat myself up for
not doing everything exact and precise. will be open to letting every day play itself out
as the Lord directs and will not be under my exclusive control. My pastor said: strive
for inner peace. I have asked the angels to watch over alll those who suffer from panic
disorder, Teresa. We are greatly limited and held captive by this phobia. Have a wonderful weekend, friends! May the Virgin Mary hold you tight in her comforting arms.

kaylynn7800

Kaylynn will be praying for you , mom and Gideon during rosary hour. When did you say you were going to your Mom’s My cell phone has been getting hot, very hot, so they are going to test cell phone next week. Saturday is so crazy, so many people in my city

77stanthony77: Be well in the triple digit heat. My sister in AZ said she had a short
walk to her mailbox, and her shoulders were burning from the sun. My flight leaves
Tampa on Wednesday, July 3, and I return on July 8 in the afternoon. I am taking
only my carry-on suitcase, not my computer. So don’t give up on me if you don’t get
a shout-out til I return. It will be very hard to leave my faithful friend, Gideon.
Thank you and God bless you for your prayers.
