Strengthen them in body and soul,

Hello, I am still here. May God bless you all and this website. I hope you can all continue to work fruitfully to bring people to Our Lord Jesus and the Church He established.

People, be careful at hospitals. Euthanasia is alive and well in the United States of America. It is at the point that a good thing to do is to notify your attorney when you are admitted to a hospital. Also, make sure people are constantly visiting you, be careful of taking too many meds and just take what you need to recovery from surgery or what you went there in the first place. Then, try to get out as soon as possible. The new generation of doctors thinks they have a license to kill.

Well, I had that appointment on Monday which I had mentioned, but. on Sunday since I was in pain I decided to thru the ER so they can start doing the tests (MRI etc…) to speed things up. I was at Massachusetts General Hospital between Sunday and Thursday. On Wednesday the floor doctor informed me that my situation was terminal but that they can keep me ‘comfortable.’ After she left, I asked the nurse to confirm the oncologist would be stopping by as I was expecting him. The nurse even showed in the computer that there were no oncologists for her to contact as part of my care team. She sent in the floor doctor to speak with me who informed me that the oncologist would not be coming in to speak with me as was the plan and as I was expecting. She said that the assistant to the oncologist ordered a genetic cancer test that it would take several days to do so that I would be in the medical unit and in the room where I was at that time awaiting the results which would take over a week to take then I would have to wait for the results. Meanwhile, I already had all the genetic testing (all of which came back negative) and this was all a lie.

It was one o’clock, Ash Wednesday, and I had planned to see the oncologist by 5 pm and I just learned that was not happening and no one had the decency to tell me. So, I suppose I was supposed to just wait for nothing. Fortunately, the brain is still working and the situation got all my antennas out. I got dressed and left the floor and went to Patient Advocacy and told the woman there of the developments. I told here that I went there for treatment and no one had the right without my consent nor my children to make life determination decisions for me. She tried to make excuses even before understanding what was going on, and I told her; you tell the two oncologist x and y, to be in my room before 5 pm otherwise I will be leaving. She was like, what? And, I left the room.

When I arrived in the 19th floor where I was staying, a nurse came rushing to me to tell me that the oncologists would be in between 5 and 6 and to please wait for them. I did. They told me that my situation was terminal and that what they could do is give me palliative chemo and keep me comfortable while I get my affairs together. There was other stuff - like taking the opportunity to run a little experiment on me as if I was a lab rat. Well, they left and I thought about it. I called my sister and told her to the situation and to get over there asap the following day as I needed a ride home.

The next day, I notified them that I will be leaving. Well, that’s when they used all their power to protect themselves, threaten and attempted to intimidate me. Those tactics do not work well on me, instead, they just get me going. They were so nervous they even sent a psychiatrist to evaluate me to supposedly make sure I was competent to discharge myself. I told her that I was competent when I signed myself in on Sunday and not much has happened since then, except that my treatment has been delayed. I still have some spunk left, and during our little discussion, I told her that I am very well aware her presence in the matter has nothing to do with my statement mind or any medical healthy interest concerning me, but instead, this is about protecting the interests of the hospital given some people thought they could make a life decision for me without my consent nor my children’s consent who are my proxy. I told the psychiatrist, I don’t think you want to permit your license to be used in this way. We talked for a couple of more minutes and a call came in for her on her cell. She just looked at the screen and did not pick it up. Then, a couple of minutes later, the cell rang again. And, she said to me, I am going to pick it up, give me a minute, is the attorneys.

Well, after talking with the hospital attorneys, she said, we would like to have a meeting with the team, your children and yourself. I said no. There will be no meeting. You are delaying me receiving treatment and you are just trying to protect the interests of the hospital at my expense. You have one hour to provide me with the discharge papers. The psychiatrist left. The hospital who was nervous came in and tried to intimidate me, I looked at her as if to ask her - do you really want to be on the other side of me of a multi-million dollar laws where I would try to walk away with your death license?

An hour later, a nurse came in to tell me the team had their meeting and my discharge paperwork was being prepared. They are me to sign that they offered me treatment but, I refused. I signed, even though they had not offered me treatment and I got out of the hell hole.
 
At Mass Gen, they were prolonging people’s stays (cash in on that insurance) and there were some people in a room in cods that were ten inches from the floor like sardines. The was a woman there for five days due to a dog bite and they were not allowing her to leave, there was also an 82-year-old woman who had an operation and they were not allowing her to leave even though she was supposed to have left 3 days before etc… my last night there, a man was brought in and he suffered all night long and cried and moaned and called on his guardian angel to help him all night. I don’t understand why they could let that happened, why not give him a sedative or pain killer. The Hotel California what a nightmare.

Well, I had planned to go to MDAnderson but, my children wanted me to get treatment near home so we could be together and this is how I ended up at MassGen. So, today, I am leaving to MDAnderson, if they can treatment fine, if not I will come home and die with my children.

My faith is such, that is the exit a form to save your life we are obligated by the 5th commandment to do so and that is what I am going. I have the resources so I have to try and hope for the best.

The good news is that I was able to confess, receiving the ashes and Eucharist on Ash Wednesday by the poor priest that work in that hospital. He adviced me to get out and go to MDAnderson and said exactly what you are think is our faith and we have an obligation to save our life.

I am going to stop here. I am headed to Houston. I will probably no see a doctor until the following week given the paperwork. Please keep me and my sons in your prayers.

Thank you for the update Abba, and for the warning of the trend towards euthanasia in our hospitals. I too, have seen this within a local hospice which networked with a hospital in our area.
A prayer of gratitude that you were able to discern the danger you faced and stand up for yourself in this situation.
May the Holy Spirit guide you to doctors who will treat you in accordance with the will of God.
