** “Pope Francis and the People.” The “20/20” special will air 9/4/15 at 10 p.m. Friday on ABC (U.S.) **

Pope Francis held the online audience with participants from three locations: Chicago, Los Angeles, and the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Chicago participants consisted of a group of students from Rey Jesuit High School. The U.S.-Mexico border group consisted of men and women sitting at the Sacred Heart Church in McAllen, Texas. There was also a group comprising homeless men and women along with the people who work on issues of homelessness in Los Angeles.

Inside the Vatican, ABC News anchor David Muir moderated the event. ABC News will air the event in a 20/20 special edition on Sept. 4 at 10 p.m. ET. ABC News has also announced that the entire event will be available for access online as well.

Too bad that most people won’t watch it because they’ll want to see the Pope’s interview.

Yes it was. I was moved to tears. Some say it was too politically correct.
I think it was VERY CATHOLIC.
