This question might be better directed to your doctor. I have read that all contraceptive pills lessen the thickness of the uterine lining, creating conditions less acceptable for implantation. If that’s the case, they are properly called abortifacient.

It’s largely unknown to what degree this effect exists. I have heard that low-dose or single hormone contraceptives are actually more prone to this because ovulation is less likely to be suppressed, but AFAIK there’s little concrete evidence out there either way.

There’s also a lot of “Pill babies” out there, so clearly ovulation was not suppressed and implantation was successful. (Many times in these cases either there was a medication interaction that lessened its effectiveness or the user forgot to take it completely.)
