Are you certain about that? This is a moral issue.

These issues have been upsetting and depressing me for so long.

What helps me in dealing with them now, besides prayer and witnessing to others when I get the opportunity, is remembering several things – God can write straight with crooked lines, God sometimes allows evil in order to bring about a greater good, and that good will triumph in the end.

And also, no one but God knows what tomorrow will bring.

You are correct, becoming upset, or getting depressed, does not help at all. God can write with crooked lines, and God sometimes does allow evil in order to bring about good. *
He can also*** use news reports and forums like this one,** to wake us up.** He wakes us up, so we can be a part of the solution, and we can do this in many small ways. One way is to hear these doctors and really listen to what they are trying to tell us, supporting them with our respect and our prayers, and we can even help with finances when ever this is possible. God needs our co-operation** to bring about good** in the end.
