Just wondering…
I had 2 abortions a long time ago
. I had been attending non-denomination churches off and on. I had “fallen away” and did a bunch of STUPID things one of these STUPID things was having the abortions. These all happened during the same time. The first abortion I actually took a pill that made me have a miscarriage. The second was an actual abortion.
When I had the abortions I knew it was wrong VERY WRONG, but didn’t know what else to do in that situation I had gotten myself into. I had other children and I feared for mine and their lives if I didn’t have the abortion. It was a really bad thing I had gotten myself into. Anyways, after the abortions I didn’t attend church for a LONG time. I then started looking into a church to belong to. I couldn’t accept the fact that it was ok to “fall away” every now and then and just because I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior I was ok and it didn’t matter what I did I was “saved”
I ended up coming into the Catholic Church after a lot of study. I confessed my past abortions have repented of all my sins. I would rather die than ever offend God again.
I wish I could just turn back the hands of time! I wish I could talk everyone out of having an abortion! It is so horrible!!!
Sometimes I wonder was I too late. Is there no hope for me?
How does Heb 10:26 & 12:17 fit into the picture?
Thanks for your answers in advance!
