Prayer to End Abortion

Lord God, I thank you today
for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the
Pro-Life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

Fr. Frank Pavone
National Director, Priests for Life

O Lord, please answer this prayer for all nations. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

In the Most Holy Name of FATHER CREATOR, JESUS SON REDEEMER, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT SANCTIFIER
We rejoice in thanksgiving for YOUR HOLY SCRIPTURES, O LORD.
“No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket. Instead, everyone who lights a lamp puts
it on a lamp stand. Then its light shines on everyone in the house [world].”
  • Matthew Chapt. 5 Verse 15
Dear LORD,
We know Priests for Life urges us to do much more for Life.
Have you ever heard of Bishop Waymond L. Burton, Jr. and Dr. Alveda King coworkers for
life with Fr. Frank Pavone? Minister Alveda is neice of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Praise be Jesus, for those who “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
For the rights of all who are destitute.” -Proverbs 31:8 Since Jesus said that what
we do to the least among us, we do to Him (Ref. Matthew 25); we know beyond a shadow of a doubt,
that the USA alone has about 3,000 martyrs for Christ per week. Very few, even
Christians give them the mourning that is due them. Their bodies are thrown in the trash…
Our brothers and sisters in the womb need us. Complacency has allowed the
USA to murder her own people; following in the footsteps of JESUS and Rev. Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr, we should not hide our light under a bushel basket but use our National
right, and God given duty to fight for our brethren in mothers bellies. The spirit of
Elijah of the LORD, wants us to
“(…) turn the hearts of fathers [parents] to their children and the hearts
of children to thier fathers [parents], lest I [the LORD] come and smite the land with a curse.”
-Malachi 4:5

Amen.

PRAYER FOR LIFE
Pope John Paul II
Gospel of Life - March 25, 1995

[IN THE HOLY NAME OF GOD THE FATHER CREATOR;
JESUS THE CHRIST SON REDEEMER;
AND THE HOLY SPIRIT SANCTIFIER]

O Mary
bright dawn of the new world,
Mother of the living,
to you we entrust
the cause of life:
Look down, O Mother,
upon the numbers
of [children born into human life]
[at the moment of conception]
[when the soul is infused with]
[the human body]
not allowed to be born,
of the poor whose lives
are made difficult,
of men and women
who are victims of brutal violence,
of the elderly and the sick killed
by indifference or out of misguided mercy.
Grant that all who believe in your Son
may proclaim the Gospel of Life
with honesty and love
to the people of our time.
Obtain for then the grace
to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new,
the joy of celebrating it with gratitude
throughout their lives
and the courage to bear witness to it
resolutely, in order the build,
together with all people of good will,
the civilization of truth and love,
to the praise and glory of God,
the Creator and lover of life.
Amen.

Loving God,

Your son Jesus taught us to love and to pray through the beatitudes as a model for how we should live out our Christian lives. Please bless us, grant us wisdom, have mercy on us as we sometimes stray from the desires you have for us, and help us to pray feverishly and with great effect for this intention. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Bless these children of yours who never have the opportunity to live out their earthly lives, and bless those who grieve and mourn for them. Please send your loving Holy Spirit to soften and change the hardened hearts of so many people who do not understand and appreciate the evil that is abortion. Please guide and lead the political leaders of our country so the rights and dignity of our unborn will be respected and will be preserved by our laws and practices.

We pray in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

That all expectant mothers chrish the life growing within them, and choose life and not death for their potential children.

PRAYER FOR EXPECTANT MOTHERS # 2
O Good Saint Anne,
who had the incomparable privilege of bringing into the world
Her who was to become the Mother of God,
I come to place myself
under your special care.

I confide myself to you,
together with the child I am carrying.
Thousands of children owe you,
Glorious Mother of Mary,
the life of the body and the grace of baptism.
Hence I wish, in my turn,
to place my whole confidence in you.
Make me keep in mind the precautions I need to take
so as not to endanger in any way the health,
good qualities or the eternal salvation
of the child whose very existence
God has placed in my care.

Obtain for me
the virtues you did teach Her who was to be the Mother of God,
so that I may afterwards
instil and develop them
in the heart of my child.

O Good Saint Anne,
protect me today and forever.
I know that you will not refuse your intercession
to a mother who invokes you with confidence.

Amen

Prayer for the PreBorn

Open my mouth Lord for those (ref. Prov. 31:8)
who cannot speak for themselves,
especially the innocent being killed,
Rachel mourns for her children.

O dear Lord, how long?
Please end the unearned suffering of
Your souls who desire to be born,
and their family and friends.

O, dear Lord, we need apostles,
prophets, teachers, and so many
more givers of Your mercy.

Lord, forgive our failing faith.
Cause us to robustly do all we can with
the gifts You give to end
the attrocity of abortion,
in the United States of America,
and the world.
Amen.

FATHER, SON JESUS THE CHRIST, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT,

Thank YOU for these prayer partners.
May we share our strong desire to have YOUR WILL,
to protect innocent lives,

Help us end abortion and other atrocities.
Help us help all who hunger and thirst for life,
