O Glorious Lord God

Amid these many petitions of the needs of your children;
please keep this prayer for the preborn and desperately poor,
before Your Throne.
O Lord who hears the cries of the poor;
Let the Light of Your Church shine brighter,
by all Christians, The body of Christ,
so the world will hear the cries of the poor.
Amen.
Our Father who are in Heaven, Most Holy be Your Name,
Your Kingdom of Charity fill our hearts, and those of the whole world.
Grant us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
And let us not be led into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory,
to Reign Forever and Ever.
Amen.
Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with you;
Blessed are you among woman, and Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Loving God,

Your son Jesus taught us to love and to pray through the beatitudes as a model for how we should live out our Christian lives. Please bless us, grant us wisdom, have mercy on us as we sometimes stray from the desires you have for us, and help us to pray feverishly and with great effect for this intention. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Bless these children of yours who never have the opportunity to live out their earthly lives, and bless those who grieve and mourn for them. Please send your loving Holy Spirit to soften and change the hardened hearts of so many people who do not understand and appreciate the evil that is abortion. Please guide and lead the political leaders of our country so the rights and dignity of our unborn will be respected and will be preserved by our laws and practices.

We pray in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Loving God, in Your goodness, You have given us the gift of life. I ask Your pardon and forgiveness for my own failure and the failure of all people in this world to protect and respect this gift you have given us. I pray that, with Your grace, I and all people will respect, reverence, and protect all life and that I will be especially sensitive to the life of the unborn, the abused, the neglected, the disabled, and the elderly. Guide all who make decisions about life, that they will do so with wisdom, love, and courage. In Your name - Father, Source of all life, Son, Savior of our lives, and Spirit, Sanctifier of our lives - We pray. Amen
