You like to make accusations and when called on them to back them up, you cop out. Fair enough.thank you. not everyone can read between the lines.

what are you talking about? You like to make accusations and when called on them to back them up, you cop out. Fair enough.
Yes - there is sufficient blame to go around. We could even add to that list, all the so called “catholics” who did not place “Pro-Life” high enough on their list of voting issues, not just in the last presidential election but in many elections, at many levels, over the years. prefering instead to vote their “pocketbook”.I think abortion is murder, but as William F Buckley (a catholic) seems to believe, I blame the abortionist and society not the woman. He says in many, if not most cases, the woman (girl) really isn’t making her own choice but is forced into it.
There’s real wisdom here. Thank you for reminding us. An unsaved soul is destined to an aweful place.Yes - there is sufficient blame to go around. Also it is important that we remember to do all things in Love. That means we need to “Hate the sin, but Love the sinner”.
Anytime I pass by the “Planned Parenthood” (and there is one very near us) I pray,
“Heavenly Father, protect the innocent. Convict and convert the guilty.”
I do not wish ill on those involved, except that which will open their eyes to their sin. So that these people also will join with us in overturning this scourge of abortion.
Peace
James
Your welcome. There’s real wisdom here. Thank you for reminding us. An unsaved soul is destined to an aweful place.
A wise person said the best way to defeat our enemies is by making them our friends. The best way to help a non-believer is to help them see their Savior in and through us.Your welcome.
If we see everything in Love, then we wish even our enemies to be saved and so we pray for them.
I’m reminded of the section in Matthew where Jesus is just absolutely “ripping on” the Scribes and Pharasees - the “Woe to you Scribes and Pharasees…”, passage. (Mt 23:13-33)
In this Jesus roundly condemns the Scribes and Pharasees, yet we must see this as being done in Love. If any Scribe or any Pharasee came to Jesus and repented, Jesus would not only forgive and accept them but hold them up as an example to others.
Thus it is that, while our words to each other can sometimes be seen as harsh, so long as we keep ourselves firmly grounded in God’s Love, and are willing and eager to forgive and accept forgiveness from each other, we can grow closer to God and God’s Truth.
Peace
James

Dok,Sorry but your comment came in the middle of our discussion with now ‘quote’ to hang your comment on.
I’m still waiting for your answer to my questions.
Dok,
you are not One with us, we are not in the same mind, we dont have the same Faith. i cannot expect you to understand our Faith.
many times when i say something it is not up to be refuted or debated. i said and it is done. i am not trying to convince you of anything. our Catholic Faith is not dependent in what you believe. i doubt you going to convince any Catholics here about what you believe. you belong to an invisible Church, we Catholics (we dont believe) we know and belong to a visible Church with the pope as the visible head. how can we ever agree in anything? we cant. you have no authority to preach or teach Scriptures. the CC does.
your problem is that you are here trying to teach Catholics about God, not realizing that we Catholics belong the Church Jesus found. who else can know better than His visible Church and is commanded by Him?
dont feel offended Dok, but to us, you have no authority to teach us Catholics.
the problem with protestants is that they dont take Catholics serious and continue to ignore the CC.
you just dont seem to wanting to understand.I’m not offended even in the midst of a ‘I’m superior to you’ attitude.
Sorry, though, for your cop out way of not answering questions. I understand they may make you think and examine things in a way that feels uncomfortable to you, but then just join the club.
no, it does not make me unconfortable. we have different understanding about the things of God. you dont know God like the Church does. how can i ever tell you that inquisition was not a bad thing when you have convinced yourself that it is.I’m not offended even in the midst of a ‘I’m superior to you’ attitude.

And how do any of us “know”. Because we interpret with guidance from His Holy Spirit to the best of our undertanding or we listen to the interpretations of others.we Catholics (we dont believe) we know
Thanks for your opinion. Sorry we have no room for discussion.you just dont seem to wanting to understand.
what the Church determine is True is not up for debate. protestants come here with the intention to argue about everything that Catholics know as Truth. that is the attitude.
the Church says that Catholic children must be baptized right after birth. we belong to the family of God right after birth when baptized. we Catholics like teh Jews dont have the luxury of letting children grow up to decide if they want to be in the family of God or not. do you see this is not up for debate, it is just how it is. this is not about trying to convince you to believe. it is up to you to accept how we do thinks or not. but it is not meant to become a subjet of argument. this is just an example.
I’d love to hear from all your fellow catholics if they agree with you that the inquisition is not bad.no, it does not make me unconfortable. we have different understanding about the things of God. you dont know God like the Church does. how can i ever tell you that inquisition was not a bad thing when you have convinced yourself that it is.
As bad as other scandals in the Church. Even CAF library defines Inquisition as an embarassment to Catholics.I’d love to hear from all your fellow catholics if they agree with you that the inquisition is not bad.
