Abortion Center Director Guilty of False Bomb Threat Report, Used Egg Timer

Tulsa, OK – The former director of the Reproductive Services abortion center in Tulsa, Oklahoma has pleaded guilty to charges of making false or misleading statements after telling police she supposedly found a bomb at the abortion center.

Not the first time this has happened, either.

Alan Weisberg committed arson on a clinic he owned in 1991, and blamed it on pro-lifers. He was finally convicted in 1999.

In the 1980’s, Frank Mendiola called in several fake bomb threats to clinics, and pointed the finger at pro-lifers, “to have you people, the media, come down with a harder line on those people who are harassing the clinics.”

NOW’s David Friedman went so far to falsely accuse pro-lifers of violence that he once wore a sling to a press conference. Palm Springs police suspended investigations when there were no leads after some time, then later found documents proving that he was making up the claims.
