Abortion: Dealing with pro-choice arguments

How do I respond to people who say “if abortion is murder then so is masturbation and noctournal emissions are suicide”

I know the comparisons are ridiculous but how do I respond.
 
Respond exactly as you just said: It’s ridiculous. To compare the zygote to egg and sperm is silly, because they are two completely different things. One is a fully merged egg and sperm containing all 23 pairs of chromosomes that determine sex, hair color, eye color, height, etc, and is growing and developing into a new fully formed human being. The other is a sex cell which, without it’s other half, has absolutely no chance of creating life and growing into a fully formed human person.

Alternatively, you can turn it back on them and say that if abortion is not murder, then neither is infanticide, neither is the killing of someone in a coma, neither is the killing of the elderly, neither is the killing of whatever arbitrary definition of “person” or “human” they want to make.
 
Just as you have stated,these assertions are so ridiculous,they don’t merit a response!
 
All you have to say to those pro-choice is, that killing of an innocent Baby ,which is torn from her womb, is a lot worest,and sadden OUR LADY,to see another Baby life end before it can live. .
Masturbation is a hold differtant Ballgame. you can,t, compare it with the death of a Baby.May GOD have Mercy, for those that beleiving,that killing a Baby is ok. :sad_yes:

Do what I do. I tell them to go study biology and anatomy and then come back and talk to me. I will not discuss this issue with people who build arguments on the ridiculous.

Only fools and children insist on debating the ridiculous and I’m not too sure about children.
