It won’t be. The article says the maximum sentence is 3 years. He’ll probably plea bargain it down to little or no jail time. Meanwhile, countless women will be living for the rest of their lives believing they aborted their babies when they did not.
And, really, he burned 55 aborted fetuses in a field, got caught, and was allowed to continue practicing? Really?
A doctor willing to defraud his patients is likely to have skirted other laws, including state restrictions on when abortions may occur, who they may be performed on, consent laws, etc. I hope he’s thoroughly investigated including but not limited to possible illegal late term abortions, illegal abortions on minors without parental consent, etc.
