Numerous independent trials have confirmed the 99 percent success rate of the Billings Method, including a recent study following thousands of women for more than a year. If any further proof is needed, the method has been regularly used up to date by over 2,686,400 fertile couples in China for avoiding pregnancy with an overall success rate of approximately 99 percent.

It’s amazing how people will argue “birth dearth” and then discuss not having as many babies as possible all in the same breath.

Show me where I stated this was a Church teaching.

Furthermore, what I stated is OBVIOUSLY not a reference to a Church teaching, because it doesn’t even specifically refer to Catholics.

Here’s something that is also put forth in a charitable way possible. A lot of people on this forum having reading comprehension problem. IMHO, it is due to having preconceived notions; reading what you want to read and not what is actually in front of you.

As the Jesuits incisively noted, the Chinese failure was because, as numerous works have substantiated (by Westerners and Chinese), their conceptual frameworks hindered the development of science – their lack of belief in a transcendent Creator who endowed His creation with consistent physical laws, in turn because the conception of a divine celestial lawgiver imposing ordinances on non-human Nature never developed. Their “intelligence” did not enable them to cross that barrier.

You really have no idea what you are talking about. But a least a new study clarifies why:

There is a reasons why (ancient) Chinese philosophy is continually discussed along with modern physics. But that doesn’t matter to you, since what some Jesuits priests said a few hundred years ago about a culture that they really didn’t understand is the basis for your opinion.

So not only is he unaware that Catholics are not “born-again” as Fundamentalist Protestants like to think of themselves, neither do most real Catholics have a “life changing religious experience”.

Such a virulently anti-Catholic mind-set, hell-bent on denigrating Christ’s Church and Her faith and moral teaching on contraception, based on the natural moral law, also tries to deny the fact that She built Western Civilization.
