Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Faithful Irish Catholics fighting for the lives of unborn babies have been struggling against the pro abortion media and the rich donors who support them. May the 85 Rosary Rallies held on the weekend of May 11-13 in the Counties of Ireland bear fruit today. May Our Lady intercede and win this battle for Life, by the power of God working through her children who put their trust in God as she did on this earth.

If you and I support them today with our Rosaries, and our little sacrifices we can help over come the forces of evil at work. In the United States, my own country, I have seen the terrible effect of legalized abortion. My grandparents were born in Ireland and I hate to see what was once a “Catholic Country” falling into the same errors as my own country. The evil one is a liar and the father of lies, who deceived our first parents in the Garden of Eden and he continues in our day to deceive parents and their children die.

The final attack – as our Mother Mary told Sister Lucia of Fatima - will be waged against the family. We are in the midst of this spiritual warfare, and we need God’s help through the intercession of Our Mother, We need to repent for our sins and the sins of the world and build up the Body of Christ in love that is true. Who is the one who loves God? The Gospel of John tells us:
Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.
The father of lies has deceived many by counterfeiting “love” in the culture. He has succeeded in “making evil look good”. How can the murder of babies in the womb ever be accepted as good for women, or men, or nations – most of all, how can it be good for the defenseless unborn? Abortion has become legal so that people can believe what is lawful is right BUT in truth the willful killing of a defenseless baby is cruel and is not right. Both Mother and Child need to be protected in childbirth. The true human rights of the family need to be protected – all are called to Life in God.

Please for Love of God and love one another let us pray that Ireland will choose to vote for Life and not death today.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women
And Blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners now

Jesus
Holy Mary
Mother of God
Pray for us sinners,

Please Lord, influence these people to vote with their heart and not their political correctness…

Dear anna,

I read this morning that the polls are showing it to be “tight”, but while those who are fighting to have abortion legalized have the lead, their numbers seemed to be falling while the Pro-lifers seemed to be gaining. As soon as I hear anything definite I’ll post the results of the referndum.

Thanks so much for your prayers!

Thank you, I just checked the news…We are all waiting and praying. God bless you…

Dear Crusaderbear,

May God purify the hearts of all who are voting in the referendum today. There are many hearts confused and deceived so that they are willing to vote as they “think” rather than vote according to God’s Truth, revealed to us and taught by the Catholic Church! Mary, Mother of the Church, Patroness of the Unborn, pray for us.

Thanks so much, Mtatum1958 , Katherine, Katie, CajunJoy and all who are praying for Ireland to stand strong in defense of Life and remain strong in God’s Truth.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Dear Pollylodges, and all who prayed, thanks so much!

It was very sad to read the results of the referendum. I read the news on Saturday that Ireland had voted to legalize abortion in their country. What a trial this is for all of us, but especially for those in Ireland who had prayed and worked to convince brothers and sisters in the Catholic Faith especially, not to change their constitutional amendment!

This morning, in the Liturgy of the Hours Morning prayer, the reading was from the book of Judith 8: 25 - 27:
We should be grateful to the Lord our God for putting us to the test, as He did our forefathers. Recall how he deat with Abraham, and how He tried Isaac, and all that happened to Jacob in Syrian Mesopotamia, while he was tending the flocks of Laban, his mother’s brother. Not for vengeance did the Lord put them in the crucible to try their hearts, nor has He done so with us, It is by way of admonition that He chastises those who are close to Him.
Let us ponder God’s Word and continue to pray for His Mercy. May we learn to do the Truth He reveals and offer reparation for the times we have not. Let us also continue to pray for all those in most need of His Mercy.
