TONY EASTLEY: Abortion could be looming as an election issue in the UK. The head of the Catholic Church in England and Wales is advocating a public discussion of whether the rules on abortion should remain as they are.

It is sad the UK has no “pro-life” party.

You have one party (Labour) wanting the status quo (legal up to 24 weeks). And the main opposition party (Conservative) considering to bring down the restriction to 20 weeks. It might be some progress, but not much.

A question for anyone who lives in UK; I understand the LDP is pro-abortion… am I correct?
