Abortion Site

It’s interesting that this person felt the need to start such a website. The pro-life movement is a force to be reckoned with. Let’s continue the pro-life charge and make it even stronger!

Isn’t it telling that, according to the site, some news media have the link to the site on their websites. I bet you $100 they don’t have a link to a pro-life website.

I think the site was created because someone couldn’t face their guilt, and continues for the same reason. Every woman I know who’s had an abortion, and many of the men that were involved, felt horrible after wards.

As a web developer, I think it’s interesting that the site looks like it was designed by a 12 year old.

Also “Some names have been changed at the contributor’s request.” If you’re so proud of what you did, why are you ashamed to put your name on it?

Item 10 on the FAQ is also rather despising of human life, generally, ISTM.

hmmm… the site does claim that Newsweek has “a prominent link” to them, but a search of Newsweek.com turns up nothing. When it comes to claims about the internet, I’m of the mind that if a link isn’t provided, it probably shouldn’t be believed.

This is probably an idea of a PP employee that sits at home making up all these stories.
The whole site just has a fake look to it. Like a previous poster… “looks like it was designed by a 12 year old.” … Well probably a 6 year old… because everybody knows that most 12 year olds could design a much better looking website.😉

Anyway… bottom line is I still think these are all made up stories. I read a few and it seems like some commonalities running through most are… premarital sex… contraceptive failure… and PP!

Thats why I think these are made up. JMHO.

imnotsorry.net

It’s a website wherre women post their positive abortion stories…

Your thoughts?
I know I’m in the minority here, but my reaction to this is pretty much “Well, ok then”.

Regardless of whether or not I agree with their actions, they are allowed to talk about them with others who have had similar experiences. I’m sure many individuals are perfectly happy with their decisions, they can share their stories if they wish. Pro-life individuals do the same thing. Freedom of speech and all that jazz.

The name and layout are pretty tacky though.

This one is great…

Visitor Comments: I have not had an abortion so I have no story to share, just my support for this website. Thank you for sharing stories from women who don’t think abortion ruined their lives. My husband and I are child-free by choice for the Earth and will continue with that for the rest of our lives.*

Isn’t that just great… gave my heart a global warming… they are staying “child-free” for the Earth!!:whacky:

I feel like huggin a tree now.

Pray for these poor, sad people!

They say they are not sorry. If that is true, then they are damned for all eternity.

i hope & pray that they truly sorry & are crying out for the Mercy & Love that only Jesus Christ our Lord & Savior can give to them!!!

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

They’ve been around for a bit, but for every “I’m not sorry” site, there’s probably 20 that deal with the emotinonal horror that abortion has wrought on those women. I’ve read through that site before, and others like it, and it seems many of the stories are double ups from other “I love abortion” sites.

But the way I look at it, there will be some women who have no problem with their abortion, just like there are some people who don’t see a problem with murdering born children. I mean, Charles Manson hasn’t shown any remorse. so, its most certainly in the human condition to commit murder and not be bothered by any pangs of conscience.

I read a similar website - looked more legit than this, though! - a few months back, and it sickened me. With every post I read the same word, “Selfish” “Selfish” “Selfish” It was all about how it was so INCONVENIENT to have a child…just like it’s apparently inconvenient to not have sex until you get married.

It’s hard to read these, because I volunteer at a Pregnancy crisis center where we are trained to love the women who come in and try to understand their situation (while NEVER suggesting abortion and never approving of it)…but then I read things like this, and that mindset comes crashing down.

Fortunately there ARE 20 sites of women who regretted it to every one of these…

Not so, they can ask forgiveness with the last breath of their life…after a lifetime of not being sorry, with their last breath, they can end up in paradise with God and all the Saints…for all eternity!

That’s a wonderful Christian belief.

I can’t help but wonder if some of these women are looking for ANYTHING to justify their actions. Being part of a website like that makes me think that many of them are pushing aside their guilt and trying ton convince themselves that it was the right thing to do.

I agree. I think they are ashamed and hurting and trying to justify it to themselves still. That’s what PP’s “counseling” does - it gives them all the reasons they were right to make that decision.

I found this thread while I was googling around looking for these pro-choice websites… the only distinct one I found other than www.imnotsorry.net was www.thanksabortion.com…

Their claim is that all the pro-life sites are the ones that are lying, but how can they do that when everything is anonymous? Is it really shame that prevents them from posting their real names?

Because they don’t want to be harassed? I’ve never had an abortion, but I don’t put my name on my website, I use an alias…

And yes, it’s not that professional looking is it?

I agree. I think some people (regardless of whether they are pro-choice or anti-abortion) will grieve and regret their abortion, and some simply won’t. Maybe out of ignorance, maybe out of obstinance, who knows? There may even be some that won’t blink twice over it now but may come to regret it later.

Yeah, but they have to be sincere about it. God’s not an idiot, He knows when someone’s pulling the wool over His eyes, or trying to.
