Yes, and the druggies that are stealing the cables from transmission lines and cell towers and even taking down luminaire [light] posts for the metal to sell for drug money are helping to keep the ‘governement investing’ [read that a tax increases] as they have to replace this lost wiring, etc…

And the occassional ‘goof ball’ who mistakes the million dollar fiber optic line for hundred dollar’s worth of copper wire … hey … as long as the communication outage does not affect you personnally, heck that helps the contruction industry…

Well, there you go. Recycling is always a good thing, right?

But then again, there are many cases where a woman is forced to abort by physical force or threats. I’d say that she would be free of guilt in that case.

So I ask you … do you support organizations like the Father Taaffe Foundation, the local Crisis Pregnancy Center, and a host of other organizations that work to provide safe environments for unwed, low income, whatever the situation may be mothers to have their children and either keep them or place them in adoptive homes? Is you parish working to end abortion and provide viable alternatives to these mothers? Are you? … Own it and own it personnally, what are you doing?

Well, that’s easy. Just show them how the abortion providors put the misconception out there that abortion is the only solution. Show them what the abortionists have said about what they do, how they do it, and why. Once the corrupt nature is evident to the pregnant woman, she will be more open to giving the child up for adoption rather than aborting.

The best way to get people to go along with you is to convince them that their rights are at stake if they don’t. The abortionists have played that card sucessfully for over 30 years now.

What people who support abortion must realise is that our right to do what we want with our bodies ends when the welfare, safety, or lives of others is put in jeopordy. i.e. ‘your right to swing your fist ends at my nose’. This basic principal alone should be enough to silence the pro-abortionist argument ‘our bodies, our choice’.

You ask what the “Christians are doing” … I know what I am doing…I know what christians around me are doing … I work to support [financially and with time and actions] women who might otherwise have abortions … and that support goes directly to solving the problems of poverty, housing, medical care, education, etc …

That you do not seem to “know” what we [the Christian Community] do to help people speaks to your personal involvement …

That the culture spreads the Gospel of Death does not mean that there are not others who equally are working on the opposite … but without you [and those like you] taking personal action we are less likely to make a difference …

ALL POSITIVE ACTION TAKES AN INDIVIDUAL TO MAKE THE FIRST STEP …

Want to end abortion begin to pray … then send financial assistance to a home for unwed mothers and then volunteer … then ask another Christian to join you in those activities and then encourage them to ask another …

It is very personal… it is personal for the child being killed, … you need to take personal action … you will find the collective …

What about an etopic pregnancy?

An etopic pregnancy is not a viable pregnancy as the child can not survive to term in the fallopian tube (with or without medical intervention) and as the child grows (think of a child trying to grow in a coffee stirrer) it ruptures the fallopian tube and puts the mother in mortal danger. This often occurs before a woman even knows she is pregnant. And it is a medical emergency.

From ‘The Question and Answer Catholic Catechism’ By John A. Hardon, S.J. page 142, #660. “What is sometimes called indirect abortion? Indirect abortion is not really abortion. In what is becoming a medical rarity, when a pregnant mother’s life is in imminent danger because of some pathological condition, surgery or other radical means may be used to save her life although it is reluctantly forseen that the unborn fetus will die. This is an application of the principle in double effect.”

The surgery to remove the fallopian tube is done to save the mother’s life NOT to abort a baby.

I know that I read somewhere else in more detail about this subject but I can not for the life of me remember which book it was. I have read a million books in my journey towards the Catholic Church.

You are absolutely right Yada. I take your admonition to heart. I just get so frustrated when I see publicity for the pro-abortionists, I could punch someone. Catholics are certainly not remiss in their support of the anti-abortion movement. I don’t mean to negate those efforts. I just wish we had a more visible, leader so we as a group could set DCA on its heels. Peace.

Volunteer at your local Crisis Pregnancy Center. Even if all you do is answer the phine it will be very rewarding.
