you have no way of knowing how your taxes are going to be used, they could be funding cancer research for all you know, anyway even if you do stop paying your taxes it wont stop them from getting more money from somewhere else. there are far more productive ways of resisting abortion.

Here in Britain there are abortions on the NHS, so statistically our taxes are paying for them.

the cost of an abortion isn’t that great. if you don’t pay your income-taxes you could go to jail or receive great penalties, costing you a great amont of money, and the abortions will be paid for.

Yes. Christians in the Early Church continued to pay their taxes to the Roman Authority even though they could argue that their money was being used to support the very force which was actively persecuting them and killing and torturing innocent men and women simply for professing the faith.
I don’t think we could say that continuing to pay taxes was a lack of courage on their part. I don’t think they were afraid (at least not overly so) about what would happen to them if they discontinued paying, so I feel safe in following their example in this matter.

Do a bit of research - find out for yourself how much money the US gov’t already gives Planned Parenthood in Title X money. That money does not grow on trees, it comes from your taxes and allows the biggest abortion provider on the planet to operate.

My taxes are already paying for abortions and contraception as well as other evil things. No need to wait for the new healthcare plan to be adopted it is already happening. There are some who have refused to pay their taxes because of it.

Even if you stopped paying taxes, you would still spend your $$ on goods and services, and those people would pay their taxes. Some of the businesses you already use are likely contributing money to Planned Parenthood or support another cause you find objectionable. Even the money you donate to your parish might indirectly be funding abortion, because the parish must also purchase goods and services from businesses that support causes that you find objectionable.

We really can’t. For most of us, the taxes are taken from our paychecks in advance. We file a return to have the extra refunded. Sometimes you pay a little more in… but unless you are self employed, own a business or are contract labor required to withhold and report your own, you pretty much are locked into paying the bulk of your taxes no matter what they do with the money. We will have to continue to find other ways to combat federal funding of abortion, which is and has been going on indeirectly for some time.
