Abortion

My 14 year old son caught me off guard yesterday. He ask me if a doctor was getting ready to go into a hospital to purposely kill his patient and he told you that’s what he was going to do, would it be morally wrong to stop him? I said no. He then said why is it wrong to stop abortion doctors that are going into the clinic. I stood there with a dumb look on my face. I didn’t know how to answer him. Any suggestions?

Well see here’s the thing. Abortion is wrong. It’s legally wrong to stop a doctor from killing a child. I wouldn’t mind letting the air of his tires or something like that but using physical force to stop the doctor would be bad. Do what you can to stop the doctor (as long as it’s not pushing limits) but remember God is the ultimate authority and will do justice for all. And call your senators to vote pro-life bills.YOU DID NOT VOTE THEIR BUTT IN OFFICE TO SIT AROUND ALL DAY.

I wonder what all these doctors will say when Mary asks them, ‘why were you killing my children?’

I concur; get them beyond stage 4 in their moral thinking.

For example, I asked my mother (about a year ago) if I could have a small amount of wine, and she inanely retorted its illegal. Like there was any reasonable chance that I would have been caught or tested by the cops in that situation. Also, I think my alcohol and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase enzymes expressed in my liver will make short work of that.

Did I say that? Look I’m on your side so don’t get mad. I’m just trying to give advice. Of course you can stop them by what ever means necessary- in that case. How did you get that out of what I said? Maybe you got confused at this part, so I’ll clarify-

It’s legally wrong to stop a doctor from killing a child in the womb if he’s doing it according to the law. It angers me too that our U.S. law still supports killing innocent children in the womb.

Some parents are different then others and it may be best that she doesn’t let you. Yes you won’t get drunk, tested by cops, or caught. But still it’s classified as underage drinking and for her giving alcohol to minor. Imagine if you told a friend at school that your mother let you test wine in the US. That friend might tell another friend or worse his mom and long story short your mom ends up in jail. However if your that curius itay’s drinking age is 14 sooooo…

Actions should be judged by their consequences, thinking copious amounts at a party leads to harm, as they might participate in drunk driving. A small amount is unlikely to lead to such an effect unless, probably, you have a defect in alcohol metabolism.
