In describing his conversion, Adasevic said he “dreamed about a beautiful field full of children and young people who were playing and laughing, from 4 to 24 years of age, but who ran away from him in fear. A man dressed in a black and white habit stared at him in silence. The dream was repeated each night and he would wake up in a cold sweat. One night he asked the man in black and white who he was. ‘My name is Thomas Aquinas,’ the man in his dream responded. Adasevic, educated in communist schools, had never heard of the Dominican genius saint. He didn’t recognize the name.”

“Why don’t you ask me who these children are?” St. Thomas asked Adasevic in his dream.

"They are the ones you killed with your abortions,” the Dominican saint told him.

“Adasevic awoke in amazement and decided not to perform any more abortions,” the article stated.

Yeah, after I posted it I discovered someone else had already started a thread about this story.

It is an incredible story!!!

Since this thread is on the issue of abortion, i just feel its ok to ask for this. I do not intend to interrupt or divert the smooth flow of this lovely story. It is just that i have been struggling to desperation for a some weeks now to identify and translate some bits of some documents. this passages deal with the issue of abortion.
Please can anyone give me the English Translation of the parts of these quotes as they are related to the abortion issue?

Gregory XIV’s “Sedes Apostolica”, 31 maii 1591 #1,2
Pius IX, “Apotolicae Sedis” 12 Oct. 1869 # III, n. 2
S.C.S. Off., 24 iul. 1895; 4 maii 1998, ad 2.

Thanks for your understanding.

Are there any other dramatic conversion stories like this?

Two of our own country:
Bernard Nathanson was the co-founder of NARAL, but he became prolife as he was making “the silent scream.” From what I heard, the film was originally supposed to an instructional documentary on the process of an abortion. (if you look in the NARAL website, it does not mention anywhere that he helped start the organization…😃

Norma McCorvey was “Jane Roe” on whom the Roe vs Wade case was based. She is also a pro life activist now. At around the same time she was baptized and became a born-again Christian.

Funny thing is they both were former atheists, but now they are Catholic converts!
