Kids step over my legs all the time when I’m kneeling in the TLM Mass. They’re careful, so, not an issue.

Seems to be a lot of people with similar experiences, so I’m curious to know which country this behaviour is manifesting in as I’ve never experienced (or seen it happen) in any country that I’ve lived in… from the Middle East to Asia and Europe. I am astounded to hear of such unchristian behaviour… that too at Mass!

Hello.

I think that’s terrible. I’m so sorry this happened to you. Not at all welcoming. Helps answer why Mass attendance is down.

During some of the worst of my depression if someone did that to me I’d probably go in tears to an usher and point out the persons who did this, I’d tell the priest, then probably leave the parish for another if the priest didn’t seem to care. If the priest seemed to care that would make a big difference.

There’s no excuse for behaving like that in church. Can’t we all be decent to each other for just an hour? I can understand it if one’s elderly or handicapped, but that kind of pettiness and selfishness doesn’t belong in church.

These people need our prayers, too, because there’s always another time when we’ve behaved in the same way regarding other matters.

My two cents…
