Now I’m confused because you said you were baptised Catholic this Easter. They would not have done this if you were baptised in the Church of England because that would be a valid baptism, so I must be missing something. Age 7 is considered age of reason by the way.OK really showing my ignorance here but I’ve been told that the infant baptism I received ( in a Cof E church ) counts & I cant be rebaptised so what kind of age is considered to be the age of reason ( or whichever is the correct term ) beyond which a person is held to be culpable for their actions & so need to confess them ? Is it a set age or varies depending on the individuals maturity , level of understanding etc ?
