About to receive Holy Communion and not sure if I'm in a state of grace!

Please pray! I just did something this morning and am not sure if it’s a mortal sin!

I’m about to head to mass and don’t have time to check to see if it’s mortal!

Please pray that I make the right choice!
 
If its status is so debatable that you, who spend considerable time on here, are not sure if the sin is mortal, then I am guessing you can probably make a good Act of Contrition and go up to Communion without too much fear.
Mention the whole business in your next Confession just in case.
 
My priest says that if you are unaware that something is a mortal sin when you did it, then it is not considered a mortal sin. Of course that changes once you have been made aware that the sin is mortal.
