"Absolution of Priests" Prayer in the Coptic Agpeya

This is a question addressed to any of the Copts who may be on this forum. I am not Coptic, but I sometimes like to the Horologia/Hours Books from other traditions to keep things interesting , but I do have a question. If I am praying the hours as a form of devotion would it be proper for me to pray the “Absolution of Priests” prayer, prayed after the Midnight Hour? Is it typical for a lay person in the Coptic tradition to do so when praying the hours without a priest?

In the Coptic Orthodox Church, the Agpeya contains an office called The Veil, not to be confused with a Orayer of the same name in the Divine Liturgies, which is an examination of conscience performed by monastics, priests and bishops, not unlike some of the Ignatian spiritual exercises I reckon. Does the Coptic Catholic Agpeya have that prayer?

Yeah, the version of the Agpeya that I have does contain those prayers. I also noticed that there are absolution prayers after each of the hours. Are those reserved for priests as well?

You know I was just at a Coptic monastery and have been to the Coptic Hours many times (I’m not Coptic) but I honestly can’t remember. Copts go to confession in their parish after praying the eleventh and twelfth hours on Saturday night.

The prayer of absolution at the end of every hour is prayed privately.
