absolution

I would’ve asked this in the spirituality forum but my question is philosophical. It seems like when I get absolution then the fight is on. Temptations abound. So what should I do ask God to rebuke? Rebuke myself with the power of the holy spirit in me since my confirmation or just say the rosary?

For me I feel all powerful and full of Gods grace and love. I feel great after a good confession. The further I am away from confession the harder it is to keep that energy.

One thing that works for me is going to daily mass and receiving the eucharist. I don’t think anything can compare to this.
 
When I leave reconciliation, it feels like a new beginning. I feel satisfied knowing that I went to reconciliation and opened up before God and let it all out. Sometimes it is hard when you know you are repeating habitual sins but nonetheless it is still a great feeling knowing you have this amazing resource to Grace.

Also, like the above poster, I find daily mass to be rewarding in helping sin, especially habitual sin. When I go often to mass, I feel more accountable when I get home and into my life at home. It is hard to explain. Because I look forward to going mass daily, I don’t want to screw up and not be able to receive the Eucharist due to my sins. And because I receive the Eucharist, it only empowers me to try to stay away from sin.

Well Jesus said that he that does not eat of my body or drink of my blood has no part with me.
