If someone follows the traditional rule of abstaining from meat on Fridays, and the Friday is a solemnity, I understand that the rule is abrogated. What if the celebration of the Friday is transferred to the following Sunday? Does the abstention rule still hold for Friday? For example, Epiphany will fall on Friday, Jan 6, 2017, but will be celebrated on the following Sunday in the US.

Friday, Jan 6, 2017, in the US will be a day of abstention from meat.
