Hi, all!
I choose to abstain from meat on Fridays throughout the entire liturgical year. However, this Friday is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Now, I am aware that solemnities dispense us from penances, but for some reason I feel that I should still abstain from meat this Friday. I would appreciate helpful suggestions on whether I should continue with my regular abstinence, or, should I pay homage to the solemnity and eat meat.
Thanks!
