I am so sorry about my earlier post in saying Steven was your son. In any event, he is very special to you. My own son has many drug problems and for 15 years I have tried to help him. I have given him money for rent (which went to drugs), money for cars (drugs, again), a place to live (never paid rent) and finally money for meth treatments (one treatment, then drugs again). I haven’t seen my son in over a year and have only had contact with him by text messaging.
Dear God, Steven needs Your help and intervention. Above all, help Steven realize that he is TRULY loved by many and many people are praying for him even though they do not physically know him. He is one of Your children. Steven sounds very much like my son, God, I pray that You will guide them both and give them the Faith that seems lacking right now. Amen, amen

Just wanted to update for those who have been praying for Steven. He’s been clean for 3 weeks now, he definitely seems more positive. He gets visitation with his daughter every other weekend supervised by his aunt, and every Thursday evening.

He’s attending NA meetings and counseling. His relationship with Ashley, the mother of his daughter is not good right now. He found out Ashley’s new boyfriend was at his daughter’s first birthday when she said he wouldn’t be. Also Ashley’s little brother keeps referring to Steven by the new boyfriend’s name by accident. So he’s pretty angry about the boyfriend right now. He feels the new boyfriend spends more time with his daughter than he is allowed to. Honestly that is actually true -and the new boyfriend takes a great interest in Ashley’s (and Steven’s) child. (I didn’t mention that to Steven.)

Otherwise he seems to be moving in a positive direction.
