No, she was very incorrect. The first 300 years of Christianity was one of persecution and execution for their faith in the Lord. And yet, despite this, it spread.

Further, for 1400 years our brothers and sisters in the Middle East and Asia have been living in persecution under Islam. And yet, they are still there.

Muslim Woman is simply blind to their persecution because Muslim Woman believes it is these Christians who are oppressing the muslim majority in these countries.

Actually she did make an interesting point which you simply brushed off by insulting here. What else is new. Perhapse her understanding of that passage is flawed but there is no need to simply ignore it and insult her. Particularly when you often spout off non sense about her religion.

I don’t think they know the basics of their own religion let alone ours. From what I gather they don’t bother with ours because they think it is beneath them to know.

If only they were a scholar of your caliber with regards to their religion. Do you have a response to her point about that verse in Mark?

I’ll respond to Mark 16. First. those signs have followed the Church as a continuing witness. St. Paul was bitten by a venomous snake [Acts 28:3] and in fact, Paul, Peter and John all showed themselves to posess supernatural power, as did many others who believed. Jesus came from eternity with power, exercised that power and granted it to others. However, for the Church, exercising that power is predicated on belief in Christ, not in tempting God to act on our behalf.

Take a look at the Bk of Exodus [17:1-7]. Israel the Church] was wandering as God commanded them, yet they began to feel a great deal of pressure from both internal and external threats agnostism/Islam]. What did they do? They demanded that God submit to them. They thought that they could put God on trial. The People doubted the presence of God, who had never left them [cf. Mt. 18:20].

The Muslim who is asking for Christians to drink poison is making the same mistake as the Israelites. Rather than awaitng God’s provision [water/miracles], they are using confrontational rhetoric hoping to see results which they wouldn’t believe in anyway. The Muslims are addressing a real question God’s promise to the Church], but in a way that is unrealistic and unreasonable drink poison now].

I didn’t even get into an even greater problem with the Muslim demands, which can be found in the narrative which discusses the temptation of Jesus.
 
inJesus, you say that prophet died due to poison. That is wrong. The act of the Jewish lady was condemnable. It was against their teaching “Thou shall not kill”.

**The prophet lived a long time after the case of the poisoning. the prophet forgave that jewish woman. How good of him.

After that, the prophet Muhamamd lived few more years and conquered many major events including the city of Makkah. He performed Hajj too. He addressed 124,000 pilgrims in the field of Arafat near makkah. Those 124,000 were his followers.

Then the prophet warded off a few major attacks by the nearby christian states who were supported by the christian king Caiser of Rome.

After all these events you will still say that the prophet died of poisoning. I have doubt on your sense of humor. After all a person has to die. When your god (Jesus) can die then Muhammad had to die too (in sympathy). But i tell you that I never heard any where that a God would pray or die. Can you explain about a god who prays to another god and then very soon he dies too.???

You people, in your theology, have a god who has another god. And yet you say that you do not commit Shirk?

how it’s put God to test ? Why your holy book then says so ? If really this is forbidden to do , then why some Christians did that in the past ?
 
**Today is the birthday of the prophet Muhammad (The peace and blessings of Allah be upon him all the time). It would be well to give a message to the world on this auspicious occasion. The message from the last sermon that the prophet delivered before a congregation of 124,000 persons:

“O Mankind, know that you are the children of Adam ( you are all like brothers and sisters). All mankind is equal. The White man has not got any superiority over the black man and the Arab has no superiority over the non-Arab (Ajmi). If any one is superior, it is due to his good deeds and his faithfulness (taqwa) to Allah. i.e God Almighty.”**

He died of poison but not from the Jewish woman. The reason why sunnis believe he died of poison from a jewish woman is because Aisha said so in a hadith. Naturally a person who is suspect would try to deflect suspicion away by blaming someone else.

let’s consider the facts:
  • the jewish woman prepared the poison in the year 7AH after the battle of Khaibar
  • the prophet (s) passed away in the year 11AH
There’s a time gap of 4 years from the moment he allegedly ingested the poison and when he passed away as a result. Generally poison effects are immediate and doesn’t linger in the body for 4 years.

Aisha’s testimony that the prophet passed away as a result of poisoning from a jewish woman 4 years earlier is not valid because Aisha was an infamous liar. She lied to the prophet on at least 2 occasions that we know about. If she wasn’t afraid to lie to the prophet’s face, there is no guarantee she will be honest with us. Therefore her testimony is discounted unless corroborated by someone else.

The first time she lied to the prophet was in the incident of the honey.

Allah's Apostle used to drink honey in the house of Zainab, the daughter of Jahsh, and would stay there with her. So Hafsa and I agreed secretly that, if he come to either of us, she would say to him "It seems you have eaten Maghafir (a kind of bad-smelling resin), for I smell in you the smell of Maghafir.
The 2nd lie, the incident when Aisha administered an unknown substance to the prophet as he was lying ill in bed. The prophet repeatedly refused the substance and asked her not to administer it to him. After he awoke he asked her why she administered the substance to him, Aisha shifted blame by accusing Abbas of administering the substance. The prophet was upset and asked they be punished by administering to them the same substance except al-abbas.

After he had passed away, Aisha gave two reasons for his death, the first one is that a jewish woman poised a piece lamb he ate 4 years ago, when that didn’t work and people’s suspicion of her continued, she claimed he died of a tumor.

  • why did she blame Al-Abbas for doing this?
  • why did the prophet order they be punished by administering to them the same substance with the exception of Al-Abbas

“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a White has no superiority over a Black nor a Black has any superiority over a White except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly.”
