I’ve read conflicting reports on what is acceptable within marriage as far as “foreplay” goes.
For example, is oral-genital contact acceptable if it is only done as a “prelude” to the marital act being fulfilled in the acceptable way (i.e., open to life)? How about touching each other’s genital area with your hands?
I’ve read conflicting items on this. One was that it was fine so long as the act was consummated properly, another was that it was objectively sinful no matter what (I don’t have this source handy, I would link it if I did. It was from a theologian, and he was also of the belief that touching one another ‘similar to masturbation’ was also out of bounds, even if only as a prelude).
Anyone have anything definitive on this matter?
