wow the christians are now selling indulgenses???Blessings are kind of like money. You use them to buy armor, bless others, and buy certain custom things like signatures. Don’t worry, I’ll give you some blessings so you can make a signature.

They have a forum for non-Christians to ask questions and - WOW - it’s tough crowd. I’m the only Catholic on a couple of threads and am getting hit from both sides when I give a “Catholic” answer to one of the questions. There are a lot of agnostics and atheists asking inflammatory questions, but I love throwing out a handful of seeds. Maybe someday one will take root.

All in all, I’ve found Christian Forums a very fun and welcoming place. There is a sarcastic autoanswer robot names ChrisBot that sound like talking to…ME! He and I talk for hours on end.

I joined when I was trying to figure out whether or not I needed to become a Catholic, and have gotten into many good (and perhaps heated) discussions there. Between the vigorous anti-Catholics and the atheists, it’s been a very good exercise ground.
The blessing and armor of God stuff is just for fun, you get a blessing for each post, others can give you blessings if they wish, you get them for playing the quizzes, supporting CF with money, etc, etc. You can use blessings as currency to upload a photo to your profile, etc.
MY CF handle is “chilehed”.

Yes, thanks for both. I was gonna give you reputation also, but the rules are very strict there about throwing reputation around to your friends for the sake of bumping it up. As for the agnostics, you were doing a fantastic job without me, I don’t think I can add anything to the discussions you were having. I’m more a low-level apologetics man.
