Where are we obliged to draw the line in terms of not cooperating in immorality? Take for instance seeing a secular dr who would most likely prescribe BC? Or another example where a student is doing training at a medical institute that also promotes such a practice contrary?

While it may not always be possible due to the job market, one’s living situation or geography, devout Catholics should feel obligated to avoid giving their business to companies which sponsor or actively undertake activities contrary to Catholic teachings. I think we are also obligated not to pursue either education or employment with institutions which promote abortion, celebrate homosexuality or which engage in other immoral practices.

Would you never go to a pharmacy or grocery store because they sold condoms? Come on now.

About 20 or so years ago I was teaching in a system where a union was active but not mandatory. I refused to join because of the national affiliation with a union that supported several things contrary to my beliefs. When the local president heard this he called me up and actually said these words to me, “But certainly you agree that a woman has the right to choose what happens to her own body?” The conversation ended quickly when I told him I was Catholic and I’d not agree. That was an easy way for me to draw the line although not without risk. If something had happened I would not have had the backup of the union resources. We all have to draw that line whenever possible.

I actually understand your point. The Church however has teachings on cooperating in sin involving proximate and remote cooperation.

Exactly. Another example: you (presumably) pay a monthly fee to an Internet Service Provider in order to access the Internet from your home. That same ISP is also used by some to access pornography. Do you then not pay to have Internet access because of how others choose to use the services of the same ISP you help support with your monthly fee?

I really wouldn’t understand what the church would mean with the teachings on cooperating in sin. I know we can’t be responsible for other people’s behaviour, yet are we responsible for which sort of professional workers we’re supporting?
