Praise God. Your story brings us HOPE.
I pray that God continues to bless you, your husband and your family. Mother Mary please intercede for your children.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thank you, dear Lord, for your loving kindness to Vicki and her family. Please continue to keep them under your providential care.

Jesus, King of Mercy. We trust in You. Mary, loving Mother of God and our dear Mother, intercede for your needy children.

Vicki,
Prayers have just been offered by me for you, your husband and your family. All on high will provide for your spiritual and temporal needs, trust in them even if there come moments when things seem bleak
Shalom
God bless and keep you

My husband just got in an accident. He broke his leg in 2 places, and tore ligaments in his ankle.
He has had surgery to put 2 bolts in his ankle, he will need them removed in 3 months.

The doctor told him he cannot walk on it for 3 months.

Since he can’t walk, he cannot work at his job. We will have 600 a month income, rent is 900, and all of our bills are 1400.

So the next 3 months are simply going to be impossible.

I am really stressed out, but I do have faith in God. I am waiting to see how God gets me through this crisis. Please pray for my family and I, and I will keep you informed as to how God will help us through this.

There is a small chance that when he is able to walk in 3 months his boss might give him his job back.

Please pray.

Vicki
All that happens to us in this world against our will happens to us only by the will of God, by the disposal of Providence, by His orders and under His guidance; and if from the fraility of our understanding we cannot grasp the reason fro some event, let us attribute it to divine Providence, show Him respect by accepting it from His hand, believe firmly that He does not send it us without cause.

Let us never attribute our losses, our disappointments, our afflictions, our humiliations to the devil or to men, but to God as their real source. Your misfortunes are the work not of this or that person but of God

Adversity is meant for our spiritual welfare and carefully proportioned to our needs. Experience shows that even the gravest misfortunes can have good results and the greatest successes end in disaster. A rule that God usually follows is to attain His ends by ways that are the opposite to those human prudence would normally choose.

Adversity leads us as if naturally to raise our eyes to Heaven to seek consolation in our distress. Always accept adversity joyfully

Week two down, 10 weeks to go.

My husbands doctor appointment went great, the doctor said he is healing just as he should and will see him in 5 more weeks. Next time, the doctor will take a couple of x-rays.

My husband is getting used to crutches and we also use a wheelchair when we go out.

The doctor visit costs 320 altogether, I still need prayers for our bills. My husband will apply for state disability next week, hopefully this will take the edge off if he is approved.

I was fretting for a couple of days, because I realized that I might not be able to get presents for my kids for Christmas. they are 10,12, and 13 years old. It is probably a good lesson to learn that people are more important than things. I hope you will pray that I handle their disappointment right. I am trying to think of ways to celebrate the holiday in a fun exciting way without money.

My father in law broke his hand this week, he will be in a cast for 4 weeks.

Thank you for all of your prayers.

Vicki

Week four down, 8 to go.

Temporary disability was denied, my husband was laid off a year ago and was working temporary jobs. This last job he had is full-time but he has not worked it long enough to qualify for disability.

After he is healed, his boss has assured him that he will still have a full-time job. It is just getting there.

I imagine that we can just not pay our bills for 2 months and then catch up once he is working again. This is very stressful.

I am hoping that Christmas tips will be just what we need, I just have to wait until after thanksgiving to put out the Christmas cards.

Thankfully we do have food stamps, so we have plenty to eat, which is important for the children. A friend of ours bought us a turkey so we will have a good thanksgiving.

I am also thankful that my husbands pain has gone way down. What scares me is now that he is not in as much pain he is driving with the wrong foot. He wants to get out on his crutches and in his wheelchair and I can’t stop him. I am afraid that if he falls on his ankle how much longer will it take for him to heal completely.

He can get around, but not good enough to work. Please pray that he will not re-injure his ankle. Please pray that we will either be able to get the money to pay our bills or that we can handle the stress of having them unpaid.

Please pray for the children that they will either be able to have Christmas presents or that they will not be emotionally hurt. I need wisdom in how to help them through this holiday.

Thank you for your prayers,
Vicki

PATER NOSTER,
qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

We had a very good thanksgiving and all of the children impressed me with their thankfulness and their help in cooking and cleanup.

I hope all of you have a great thanksgiving as well.
