Accidental Exaggeration in Confession

Greetings,

I have a question about confession, and it may be a bit on the scrupulous side, but stick with me.

Earlier today I went to confession and, after confessing my sins, the priest asked me a few questions. One of them was about my prayer life. I said “I pray the rosary once or twice a week, and I pray before bed and before meals.” However, I only just started praying the rosary weekly a few weeks ago, and I didn’t even do it at all last week. I am worried that I may have exaggerated in confession and that the confession may not be valid.

Was my confession valid? Or is this a matter I should ask the priest about?

I think you shoudl calm down, accept your penance and your forgiveness and do the best you can.
 
You are being too particular. Intended prayer life almost always varies from prayer life in reality. Even for Brothers, Sisters, Nuns and Priests.
