It is in the line of most Hollywood celebrities. They seem to think that they would not be where they are today if they had not had an abortion. The worst thing is that they sell it as something that is not a big deal. It would be good to have testimonies of “I chose not to have an abortion.” A documentary should be made and shown all over, young people need to know that people can’t predict the future and that no condition is permanent.

Paraphasing babdly the Bible, Yes we have the right to choose between death and life. And God expected us to choose life.

It’s up to us to choose rightly and determine what success we prefer. Earthly one, or the peace of the soul who do what she feels is the Godly path for a better world here and for the sake of the souls after this life…

That’s possible. Hollywood suceess and babies are not a lot of compatible. With a baby she may have choose another path for raising this child better that as a artist unavailable for him and with no money.

Many artists have children in their 40’s now, if they have any.

Some had been done, but I agree with you that more are needed.

Why are these people celebrated and put on pedestals?

Sadly, she encouraged young people watching the Golden Globes that abortion is okay. Her words cannot be taken back and the seeds have already been planted in young
viewer’s minds.

One instance of an actress choosing not to have an abortion was Loretta Young. While the details are murky, bottom line, Loretta became pregnant by Clark Gable — she was unmarried, while Clark was at least legally married (I say “legally” because Clark was baptized as a Catholic, but never practiced due to the death of his mother, nonetheless, any marriages he would have contracted would have been invalid unless they were in accord with canonical form). Times being what they were, Loretta had to go into hiding, and then string together a series of lies and orchestrate an intricate scheme to “adopt” her daughter whose birth was hidden — but at least she did not have an abortion!

Quite a combination of genes — two incredibly attractive parents, though the daughter underwent surgery to de-emphasize her ears, as she inherited Clark’s and his were quite prominent (to say the least…).

Today, Loretta could have had her baby, been forthright about the circumstances, and the public would think nothing of it — it might have nuked Clark’s marriage, but that would be the extent of it. For my part, I’d just be pleased to see a baby not aborted. Sometimes “times change” for the better.

I read the testimonies of Hollywood actresses when different states tried to bring up anti abortion bills. Only one of them said it was horrible and would never advice anyone to do it. The rest sold it like the best decision they had made. One or two having two abortions in a year. These women are successful and glamorous and young girls look up to some. That is why we need voices that carry weight to tell their adoption stories or saying no to abortion. People for various reasons will not admit if they regret it, sometimes they do not even admit it to themselves and in that state of denial, they can do a lot of harm.

Or - as much as I hate to say it, maybe regret isn’t as common as pro lifers would like to think

Some of these women are young now and perhaps their abortions were recent.
The regrets may come later in life when the gravity of their actions are realized.

Just out of curiosity, was this Reese Witherspoon? She fell pregnant and married Ryan Philippe. Their marriage fell apart several years later, pity, they were a beautiful couple. (And yes, it would have been just as much a pity if they had been ugly.) The daughter is a Reese clone — I’ve never seen anything quite like it. Two gorgeous women.

This is not detraction — it’s common knowledge, and in our times, any woman who gets pregnant accidentally and does not have an abortion is a heroine. God bless her.

I am becoming more and more horrified by this issue now I am pregnant myself. My baby is 22wks and waved at us in the latest ultrasound - yet I would be legally allowed a termination for another two weeks. How can this be allowed by the law?

The world celebrates sin because it can make you wealthy and powerful — the “glamour of evil.” Lady Liberty is the idol our culture worships instead of Christ and veneration for the Blessed Mother. Pray for Michelle Williams and everyone who is or will be lead into temptation because of the scandal that public support (and funding) for abortion creates.

Congratulations halogirl on your pregnancy. Praying the remainder of your pregnancy will be full good health and happuness as you await the birth of your
baby. @halogirl

I am really trying not to judge but once you see the baby on the screen I don’t know how you can go thru with it. I honestly do think that the evil one is roaming the world in terms of the abortion lobby - it is too easily seen as a ‘procedure ‘ and someone’s ‘right’. I really would love to see more support for pregnant women who feel like they can’t go on

Here they are 🙂 hope is ok to share (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)
